Munster Strokeplay: This Sunday Damien as well as Darragh O’Keeffe and Ger Casey in the Intermediates travel to Riverdale in Nenagh for the Munster Strokeplay. We wish all three the very best of luck.

Club Fourball Matchplay: Daniel Shine and Paudie Looney defeated Kieran Buckley and Jason O’Connor in the third quarter-final. We hope to have this competition completed by the time of the Ricky Kelly.

Summer Fourballs: John Looney continued his recent good form, this time teaming up with Roger O’Sullivan to win last Wednesday’s competition. He also has a good lead in the League table. Same again this and every Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Ricky Kelly: The days are counting down to the biggest club competition of the year in aid of Cystic Fibrosis kindly sponsored by the Tatler Jack. It’s once again a three ball scramble with teams costing €100 and needing to consist of one non registered member of the PPUI. You can play any time between 4pm on Friday next and 5pm on Sunday next. Entry forms are available from the clubhouse as well as the bars around the town. If you require further information, contact our competition secretaries Gerry O’Sullivan and Ger O’Connor for further info. The BBQ will take place as usual on the Monday evening at 6.30pm.

Kerry Ladies Team: The Kerry County Board has decided to run a trial for a Ladies team for the Munster Inter County in Castleisland on Sunday, July 18th at the club’s annual scratch cup. All Ladies are asked to indicate their interest to the club prior to the trial.

Anniversary Mass: We will be having a mass for deceased members of the club on Tuesday July 20th at 8pm. The mass will coincide with the first anniversary of the death of Dan O’Leary, a valued and esteemed member of our club. All club members invited to attend.

PPUI Summer Camp: The club will be hosting a PPUI run Summer Camp for kids from Monday July 19th to Friday July 23rd The cost is €50 per child and please contact Damien Fleming for further information.

Course Closed: The course will be closed this evening (Friday) at 6pm for a Kerry Gents team trial and will also be closed on Sunday for the Munster final. We wish the Kerry team the very best of luck in their efforts to claim back the Munster title.
